‘Bama Breeze-A Sweet Summer Concoction!

You guys may know we moved in recently with my in-laws. I didn’t do a whole post about it, but suffice to say we’re building a house-and they were kind enough to host us the next few months until its done! The awesome result of that is my MIL and I have had SUCH fun going through recipe books to try out new food and drink recipes. What I’ve got in store for you today is totally delish, not to mention totally beautiful to look at.

That’s the end result, here’s what you need to get there (quantities are per drink, so double for 2 drinks, triple for 3 drinks etc):

  • 1.5 ounces blackberry liqueur
  • 1 ounce orange liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce vodka
  • 1/2 cup lemonade
  • GARNISH with blackberries or an orange peel

This drink is so easy you guys, all you need to do is gather the ingredients. Paper Umbrellas are a must.

…..and put ’em one by one into a shaker filled with ice.

Then you pour that mixture into a fancy cup with MORE ice and then you look like a real hostess with the mostess πŸ™‚

Had I thought ahead more an orange twist would have been a darling accoutrement as well….

Ta Ta for now folks! Hope you enjoyed this post. I WILL say that both Glenda and I came to the quick conclusion that this is a sipping drink. If you slam a few of these back in quick succession you’ll end up looking like this guy from the Pirate Invasion.
