We love to travel but both being entrepreneurs makes that a little difficult sometimes. The last time we traveled NOT to visit family was several years ago-so we were so happy to have the chance to visit some friends in Seattle this weekend.
Owning a business makes it hard sometimes to actively spend time on yourself! We’re trying super hard this year to focus on family and friends a little bit more-we’ve been workaholics WAY too long.
Our friends took us to a super fun touristy restaurant called the Crab Pot our first night-what a blast!
Saying a little thank you for the beautiful King Crab ;0)
We started our second day with a beautiful hike-I’m always astounded by humid places that actually HAVE moss-that could never happen in Colorado haha! The beach in Seattle is so desolate and beautiful.
You can see from part of this photo this awesome ferris wheel we got to go on! I loved the juxtaposition of the sign and the sky with the clouds overhead :0)
If you’ve never been to the Pike Place Market in Seattle its a must-see! I definitely recommend going super early when they open-otherwise its filled with people and its hard to get around. The flowers there are so wonderfully amazing!
The other treats weren’t too bad either!
And they have a totally amazing spice shop called Market Spice! Its a cook’s dream come true in that place.
They also have totally amazing seafood! I LOVE SEATTLE!
I also visited a totally amazing local boutique-all about umbrellas you guys. It was so cool but I think it deserves its own blog post. The gal’s story was so much fun, so here’s a little teaser for ya!
